/  Tunes n’ Tales
“Meet the Instruments” is always popular

Tunes n’ Tales took place on August 28th, outside this year, at the Alum Creek Amphitheater. We were pleased to offer the world premiere of composer Jennifer Merkowitz’s setting of Kate and the Beanstalk by Mary Pope Osborne, author of the popular Magic Treehouse series. This commission was generously supported by the Johnstone Fund for New Music. Each family attending one of the two performances received a free copy of Mary Pope Osborne’s book. This event is perfect for children age 3-6.

An annual event for over 30 years at the Westerville Public Library, Tunes n’ Tales is a musical story time for preschoolers. The free program is always well attended and usually happens in February each year. Participants must register through the Westerville Library website and enrollment is open in January.
