The Westerville Symphony continues to work closely with Otterbein University in setting up safe COVID-19 protocols for our orchestra and audience. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Otterbein University has followed the advice of public health officials to develop protocols in the best interest of the health and safety of our community.
At this time masking is not required at any of our concerts. We recognize this is a personal choice and ask that everyone respect patrons who continue to mask when attending our concerts.
Otterbein has taken great efforts to ensure that the fresh air exchange and circulation in Cowan Hall meets and exceeds COVID recommendations and has installed MERV filtration and Ion purification in the HVAC system to provide maximum safety. Otterbein’s COVID-19 protocols are developed in consultation with Franklin County Public Health and OhioHealth. They adhere to the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health.
