The Westerville Symphony at Otterbein University would like to recognize and honor the longterm relationship and patronage of the Fritsche Family. Through the gracious support of Neva and Ernest G. Fritsche, the Westerville Symphony has been able to provide exemplary symphonic performances to audiences in central Ohio, and music education in Westerville and surrounding communities. The Fritsches made annual charitable contributions to the Westerville Symphony to support the hiring of a full-time professional Executive Director starting in 2008. This direct support has launched the Symphony into a period of growth and artistic excellence. To honor the Fritsche Family, including Nevalyn Fritsche Nevil the daughter of Ernest and Neva, the Westerville Symphony has declared the current season to be "The Fritsche Family 2016-2017 Season". Just a couple of months ago, the Symphony was deeply saddened by the loss of Neva Fritsche on August 20, 2016. At Masterworks III on April 23 2017, the Symphony will recognize the Fritsche family for their contributions and dedicate that concert to the departed Neva Fritsche.
